A: No. the Explorer 1500 can’t be used as UPS. need to press the power button to turn on the AC/USB/DC output .so it can’t turn

on and off automatically.

Q4: Can I keep this charged up by keeping it plugged in all the time in case of power outage?

A: Yes. you can keep the battery plugged in to charge. Keeping it plugged in won’t cause damage to the battery.
